Valiente amor is a Peruvian telenovela produced by Michelle Alexander for America Television in 2016. Based on the Peruvian novel"Birds Without Nest"by Clorinda Matto by Turner.

It stars Stephanie Orúe and Nicolás Galindo. In turn, it is antagonized by Sofia Rocha, Miguel Angel Alvarez, Andrea Luna and Nikko Ponce.

It also features stellar performances by Rodrigo Sánchez Patiño, Jimena Lindo, Fernando Luque, Tula Rodríguez, Francesca Zignago, Katy Jara, André Silva and the first actress Elva Alcandré.

This telenovela marked the last participation of Hertha Cárdenas,as she died days before the telenovela's premiere. The first chapter is dedicated to her. In addition, it marks Sofia Rocha's lasttelevision appearance, as he would then dedicate himself to theatre and later die in 2019.

The story revolves around the life of Rita(Stephanie Orúe)and Gerardo(Rodrigo Sánchez Patiño),a couple who fall in love in the beautiful landscapes of Cusco, but who will see their love truncated when a sudden news breaks with the illusions of both, since Gerardo has a family (his wife Lorraine and his newborn son Alejandro).

Time will pass and Rita will have a daughter of Gerardo, whom she will name Valentina, but she will never tell him about her existence. Later a tragedy will end the happiness of Rita and her family.

Years later, Valentina (also played by Stephanie Orúe)will meet Alejandro(Nicolás Galindo),a handsome young limeño who will be captivated by her, starting a series of situations in which they will gradually discover truths that could hurt them.

Valentina (Stephanie Orúe) and Alejandro (Nicolás Galindo) seem to overcome all the obstacles that have been put in the midst of their relationship and over time love between them only increases

Although they can't imagine what fate holds for them, the couple enjoy their best moments and rely on the most difficult as accomplices to life they hope to share together forever
